If you are one of the "The Voice" fanatics, for sure waiting for the fourth wildcard finalist seem unbearable to wait for. But as promised, on Wednesday Carson Daly announced in Today Show, "The Voice" fourth finalist.
And the moment of truth that was long waited for has finally come. In Today Show, "The Voice" fourth finalist announced Damien Lawson to join the other three finalists Jamison, Boyd and McAndrew, who were voted by the viewers based on their Monday performances.
The fourth wildcard finalist was decided based on unprecedented wildcard round from the formerly eliminated nine "The Voice" contestants. Viewers were able to cast votes to their favorite singers who were previously eliminated from the rounds.
Seventh Season of "The Voice" will be soon wrapping up as Today Show, "The Voice" wildcard finalist was already unveiled. The result makes three of Adam Levine's talent including McAndrew, Jamison and now Damien Lawson to join the final battle rounds on Dec. 15.
On Tuesday, Craig Wayne Boyd, Matt McAndrew, Chris Jamison, Taylor John Williams, and Damien Lawson made up the final five. Chris Jamison, Craig Wayne Boyd and Matt McAndrew were chosen the final three to compete for the finals season with their well applauded performnaces.
Today Show, "The Voice wildcard finalist voting was open all through the night until 3 a.m. EST Wednesday morning where candidates compete including: Damien Lawson of Team Adam, Taylor John Williams, Ryan Sill and Anita Antointette of Team Gwen, Sugar Joans, Luke Wade and DaNica Shirey of Team Pharrell, Jessie Pitts and Reagan James of Team Blake.
Gossip Cop noted that this is the first time "The Voice" will be featuring four finalists after season 2. After the three finalists were chosen by viewers based on votes, the fourth will be picked through wildcard. The wildcard finalist slot gives chances for the nine candidates who were already eliminated to win the title for the prestigious music competition.
Before the Today Show "The Voice" wildcard finalist announcement, Carson Daly first interviewed the three finalists. It was a tough battle choosing from the talented artists of nine contenders. With Damien Lawson joining the finalists, it is the first time in "The Voice" history that a coach's entire team will compete on the Final rounds.
