The Bellas from Pitch Perfect are definitely back as Annad Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow have a small reunion as they were featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
The stars looked really excited in the cover as they were working a tangerine dress and a feather boa to complete the look. The stars were photographed and interviewed for the edition that will be out in the newsstands by Friday.
Included in the interview is the first-time director of the film Elizabeth Banks pressing that she wanted to bring the Barden Bellas back together on the big screen but joked that it was her stupidest idea ever.
Banks said, "My first movie is this huge studio movie that a lot of people care about that also happens to be a musical with massive dance numbers. I don't know what I was thinking."
Aside from the three actresses on the cover, Anna Camp, Skylar Astin, and Adam Devine completing the whole crew of the Barden Bellas. There will also be fresh faces seen in the movie such as Hailee Steinfeld and Katey Sagal.
The first film of Banks was said to be having a lot of pressure on its sequel as there has been a large fan base for the first part and they should be able to deliver the high expectations of the fans from them.
The part one actually grossed over $65 million only in the United States and it has been dubbed as a pretty modest success for Bank's first movie. Banks noted that they did not see that people would love the movie so much and the second part is at a much higher stakes.
Banks said, "Everybody is much more involved. As the saying goes, 'Success has many fathers.'" The movie is said to hit the theatres on May 15, 2014.
