Rape allegations are mounting up for actor-comedian Bill Cosby. Now, supermodel Janice Dickinson tells ET that the Cosby assaulted her way back 1982.
According to Dickinson, now 59, she first met Cosby, now 77, when she was set up with a meeting with him. It was about a role for her on The Cosby Show. Their next encounter was when Cosby called her while she was in rehab. After that Cosby had her travel to Lake Tahoe while he was performing there because he wanted to offer Dickinson the job they previously discussed and help her with a career in singing. Then Dickinson claims that they had dinner and that Cosby gave her a glass of wine and a pill and then the alleged assault happened.
Dickinson said that when she woke up the following day she wasn't wearing her pajamas anymore and that she clearly remembers before passing out that she had been sexually assaulted by Cosby. She recalls Cosby wearing a robe, dropping the robe and got on top of her. She also remembers to be in a lot of pain and when she woke up in the morning there were semen in between her legs.
Dickinson said she tried to include it in her autobiography in 2002 but her draft was rejected by HarperCollins. She states that she was pressured to remove the rape part in her story by Cosby, his lawyers and the books publisher.
John P. Schmitt, Cosby's lawyer, issued a statement in response to the allegations. Schmitt said that Cosby will not dignify the allegations with any comment. Instead Cosby wants to thank his fans for their undying support.
Readers and fans are debating whether Dickinson's statements can be trusted. We just have to wait and see what's going to happen next, where this accusation will go and if there will be more women who will come out after Dickinson.
