Naya Rivera has spoken with the hosts of "The View" and she has talked about her beliefs in marriage and a whole lot more.
The Glee star recently married Ryan Dorsey in a surprise ceremony back in the summer and they were married in Mexico. Rivera was a guest co-host in the show and she brought up the topic that Mary J. Blige said how she makes her married life with her hubby for twelve year now: not being friends with the opposite sex.
Rivera actually agreed to Blige's thought and noted that she thinks it is amazing. She added, "I just got married and I'm pretty sure I told my husband that like two days ago."
She continued to explain that it's not so much of a rule because she feels like people are playing with fire if they are friends with the opposite sex once they are fully committed to another person. She added it will bring issues in a couple's relationship and people tend to talk to a friend of the opposite sex when in fact, your partner is right there.
However, her co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O' Donnell, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez said they do not agree and they feel that having a friend from the opposite sex is actually beneficial.
Rivera countered them saying that she gets their point but she pressed that sometimes, you don't trust outsiders and other people as you never know what their motives are. She added that she feels there is a difference between having an issue with it when you are married than when you are just dating him or her.
The star was then asked about her comment on Kim Kardashian's butt naked photo as she actually commented on it. She explained herself saying, "I do want to point out that was Miley Cyrus making fun of that. I didn't know if I was the only person who had anything to say."
