Solange Knowles Instagram - This last weekend, Solange Knowles, Beyoncé's younger sister, got married. It was an event that lasted two days and Beyoncé took it to Instagram today.
The festivities started on Friday, according to Vanity Fair. The family gathered and watched "Mahogany," starring Diana Ross. It was the film that Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson watched on their first date.
Everyone but Jay-Z was there, apparently, which raised suspicions about a feud in the family after an elevator fight he had with Solange back in May. But then, on Sunday Jay-Z attended the ceremony.
The wedding took place at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson, both arrived with style to their big day.
They both rode white vintage bicycles and Solange Knowles wore an ivory jumpsuit by couturier Stephane Rolland. As for the groom and the rest of the family, they all wore white.
All of them can be seen in the pictures that Beyoncé posted on her Instagram and some others can be found too at a fan account, called Solange Inspired.
The pictures were taken by Rog Walker, a photographer who worked with Levi's and GAP, among others.
They are quite special for a wedding. Two of them are of the Knowles women posing and looking front. Other ones are of the bride and groom arriving with their bicycles.
For the ceremony, Solange changed into a caped white gown and then for the reception, she seemed to change once again and danced. The whole event looked like an extremely produced one.
"Everyone I worked with on the wedding are friends who I love. Everything was a labor of love," Solange Knowles told Vogue.
If the Instagram pictures are anything to go by, it looks like it was a wonderful and beautiful wedding. It was also Solange Knowles' second, so let's wish happiness for this one!
