There are several artists who gladly joined the line up to celebrate 30th anniversary of "Do They Know It's Christmas" single. Adele declined the offer to join Band Aid.
Bob Geldof said, "Adele is doing nothing. She's not answering the phone...she doesn't want to be bothered by anyone. She won't even pick up the phone to her manager. She's bringing up a family, you know. Some people just don't want to do it."
Despite that, Boomtown Rats Singer said confidently that he still preserved the best female voices in the country." He also added that Sam Smith is the make equivalent of Adele making and they are positive that they will all turn-out so well.
To answer speculations about Adele's no comment about the Ebola charity single, the spokesperson of the singer said that Adele is also supporting Oxfam's Ebola Appeal through donation. Bob Geldof and some of the organizers spoke Adele but they did not confirm.
There are rumors that Adele is presently working on its third album which is target to release this Christmas season.
The line-up includes the following singers: Clean Bandit, Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Sinead O'Connor, One Direction, Roger Taylor, Olly Murs, Sam Smith, Bono, Angelique Kidjo, Seal, Elbow, Chris Martin, Paloma Faith, Jessie Ware, and Bastille.
The "Do They Know It's Christmas" was first released in year 1984. However, it was modified because they want to include the awareness on how Ebola can be actually transmitted via contact with loved ones who are infected. The controversial line from Bono that says you should be thankful because it's them who are infected and not you were the lines he really hated now. The lines are now changed into more meaningful lyrics saying something like tonight we are reaching out for you and touching you.
The "Do They Know It's Christmas" single was shown on X Factor during the result's part of the show.
