Jennifer Lawrence seen rushing to safety, fans knock barricade

Jennifer Lawrence visited "Late Show With David Letterman" and outside was a mob of her loving fans. The star was in New York city on Thursday evening but her fans knocked down the barricade causing the star to panic.

Lawrence was photographed rushing to her guards as her entourage assured that she was safe and none of the fans got too close to her.

According to the reports, Lawrence was signing a couple of autographs when the barricade was pushed too hard by the fans that were really determined to get her signature.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1" star then started to walk briskly to her car that was across the street and she immediately got insider her SUV that was chauffeured. The star reportedly just panicked but did not say anything to the fans. However, she reportedly wanted to be out of the area as soon as possible since her safety was her number one concern.

The star was able to make it to the talk show and she was her usual corky and charming self a she and David Letterman joked around about her singing voice, which was actually described as terrible.

She noted that singing in front of other people was actually her biggest fear. She coined her singing abilities as a "tone-deaf Amy Winehouse."

She then shared that she actually had to sing in the upcoming installment of the Hunger Games trilogy and she pressed that she has not yet seen herself singing on the big screen or how it sounded like.

She narrated, "I still haven't heard it. I put my fingers in my ears...I was like, 'Will you guys please get, like, Lorde to really sing it and I'll lip synch?' They said, 'No, it's really [got to be] your voice.'  So, I avoid [watching] that scene."
