The hospital spokesman revealed that following a complicated caesarian complication, the woman from Florida has no pulse 45 minutes. Hospital staff has spent three hours reviving her after the woman who gave birth was not breathing for three hours.
Apparently, Cassimiro had an unusual amniotic fluid embolism. Chakurda reported to ABC News that they already informed the family that they have done everything to save the woman. Surprisingly, shortly before calling the time of her death, the woman resuscitated.
Cassimiro, the mother who survived no pulse 45 minutes gave birth on Sept. 23 through a caesarian section. Everything went fine and her baby was healthy when suddenly she had difficulty in breathing. She stopped breathing and has no pulse and her doctors started reviving her.
Boca Raton Regional Hospital doctors claim that Cassimiro, 40, had experienced the condition known as amniotic fluid embolism. Medscape says it is a rare condition when the amniotic fluid, debris or fetal cells or hair goes to the maternal circulation causing cardiorespiratory collapse.
The woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Taily before the amniotic fluid made its way into her bloodstream and entered to her heart.
Cassimiro was regarded as a "miracle" because even she had no pulse 45 minutes she survived without any medical condition. She has no brain damage, no marks of chest compression and even shock paddles. Doctors who attended to her can't believe to what they had witnessed.
Today, Cassimiro, the miracle mom who had no pulse 45 minutes is a picture of a happy and healthy mother. The doctors don't have any explanation to what had transpired but just regarded the incident as a big miracle.
