Most Expensive Home US On Sale, At $195 Million! Beverly Hills House Has Everything Royalty Would Want [PHOTOS]

The most expensive home in the US has hit the market for the first time since 2007, but a lot of work has been done to the place ever since - and, as any great Beverly Hills home, it's also had its fair share of celebrities!

The name of the most expensive home in the US is "Palazzo di Amore," according to MSN, and its current owner says it's so named because, for him, its construction was a true "labor of love," as he created a modern palace for himself, going through details as amazing as importing 70 year-old olive trees to go with the beautiful and extravagant home.

The house is a 25-acre beauty in Beverly Hills that its owner, Jeff Greene, first purchased in 2007 at $35 million in a "bankruptcy-type situation," according to Stacy Gottula, one of the listing agents for the most expensive home in the US.

After purchasing the huge home, billionaire Greene (who's made his fortune in real estate, owning properties all over the country) took it to investing in the place, giving the house features as extravagant as its own syrah, sauvignon blanc and cabernet producing vineyard, amounting from 400 to 500 cases a year, according to WJLA.com.

Just in living space, the most expensive home in the US features 53,000 square feet, divided in 12 bedrooms and an astounding 23 bathrooms. The master suite alone is 5,000 square feet, which would already be pretty huge for a house. As reported by Fox News, the most expensive home in the US also features a huge 128-foot reflecting pool, beautiful gardens, its own spa, a garage that can fit 27 cars and a guesthouse.

The owner of the most expensive house in the US, Mr. Green, hardly spends any time in the property anymore, spending most of his time in other homes - although he did get married in the "Palazzo di Amore", in a ceremony that had boxer-turned-Broadway-star Mike Tyson as best man.

Listed at $195 million, the real estate agents in charge of selling it think that, due to its excessive luxury, the most expensive home in the US will be purchased by an international buyer instead of a local one.
