Alex From Target: Internet Sensation Alex From Target Gets Real Attention From 600K Twitter Fans and Ellen DeGeneres

Alex from Target has scored really high unexpectedly. Whether his internet sensation is intentional or unplanned, Alex has made hearts of thousands of his followers swooned with his 'Bieber-ish' look. This time his popularity is unstoppable, on Wednesday, Nov. 5, Alex met Ellen in the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Who really is Alex from Target, and why is he making headlines over the internet? Alex is just a regular cashier employee in Target Dallas branch for about three months. Alex's photo hit the internet and in a span of some days, he earned more than 600K followers on Twitter.

Alex from Target has been the talks of most people, young and old, online or offline and the Target Dallas store that he has been working with is getting also good traffic because of his popularity.

Apparently, Alex's one photo was uploaded by one shopper whom Alex was assisting. The photo was tweeted with hashtag #AlexfromTarget. From then on, the popular hashtag has been tweeted 1.5 million times and Alex followers grew abundantly from 144 to more than 600K.

According to some news, the person who uploaded Alex photo says, "while he was checking out my bags, I was checking out on him."

The simple boy from Dallas Texas is really overwhelmed with his instant rise to fame. In the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Alex from Target confirmed that he's now getting a lot of wedding proposals from unknown people.

Alex said that he has getting a lot of attention from people who take pictures of him which most he hasn't noticed. He also expressed that he really feels pressured this time because he feels he has to Tweet every time because it seems his followers are waiting.

Ellen DeGeneres gave Alex a shirt with caption that reads, "#Im Alex from Target and I was on Ellen and she gave me this shirt and please watch her show everyday." Ellen also gave her an iPad so he can tweet anytime, she says.

In his Twitter account, Alex from Target expresses how grateful he is for the people supporting and following him. In his Nov. 4 Tweet, he says:

"I didn't know the pic was taken or tweeted until my store manager showed me"

As far as his Target family is getting high sales with Alex's sensation, Target also tweeted:
