Abducted Nurse Found Safe, [PHOTOS + VIDEO] Three-Day Ordeal Ends In Hands Of Suspect

Abducted Nurse Found- In less than three days, the 22-year-old nurse was found alive in Maryland after she was abducted in a Philadelphia Street Sunday, FBI says.

Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was rescued from the suspect 120 miles away from the kidnapping location in Jessup, Maryland. Gaither was rushed to the hospital to treat her small injuries while suspect, Delvin Barnes, 37 was captured by the FBI agents.

Gaither was last seen on the surveillance camera last Sunday as the abducted nurse found was forcefully held to enter the suspect's car. The video shows that the victim was struggling to get away from Barnes.

In a press conference last Wednesday night, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey claimed that Barnes was also involved in numbers of recorded crimes. He has pending warrant for cases including assault with acid, explosives or fire and attempted capital murder of a 16-year-old in Charles City, Virginia.

On the press conference, Gaither's mother had expressed her sincere appreciation to the authorities, friends, people and family for locating her daughter. The abducted nurse found in Maryland is now recuperating while authorities are waiting for the right time to interview her.

Ramsey called Barnes a 'vicious predator' and 'thug.'

Before the abducted nurse found in Maryland was traced, a massive manhunt was done by the FBI and Philadelphia police. It was until Wednesday morning that gray Ford Taurus driven by Barnes was tracked down through the GPS.

When the authorities had traced their location, Barnes was caught off-guard, ATF Tim Jones stated. The suspect was with the abducted nurse, found in the backseat of the car. It was reported that Barnes tried to escape but was blocked by the agents.

The abducted nurse found last Wednesday was a graduate of Maryland high school. She pursued a nursing career after graduation and has been staying with her grandfather before she started living with her boyfriend for some months prior to her abduction.
