Candy Spelling Mansion or popularly known as The Manor which is now owned by Petra Ecclestone, the British heiress and daughter of Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, is reportedly on sale for $150 million.
Forbes reports that Ecclestone is quietly working on to sell the Candy Spelling Mansion after it has been renovated. The mansion was remodeled for $20 million. Ecclestone and her husband James Stunt hired interior designer Gavin Brodin and 500 workers to do the alteration.
The remodeled Candy Spelling Mansion is now designed with a Marc Quinn sculpture of twin, bikini-clad Pamela Andersons. Hooked on Houses also claims that the mansion is now designed with an overall black motif.
Based on some sources, Brodin is now quietly marketing the 'Petra-fied' Candy Spelling Mansion to prospective buyers and agents.
Petra Ecclestone bought the 56,500 square-foot home in Los Angeles owned by Candy Spelling and the late 90210 and Charlie's Angels producer Aaron Spelling in 2011 for $85 million which has an original price of $150 million.
Candy Spelling Mansion is located in approximately 4.7 acres in Holmby Hills, near Los Angeles California. It boasts 14 bedrooms and 27 bathrooms, 1 gift wrapping room, silverware storage room, wine cellar, gym, library, beauty salon, bowling alley and a screening room.
The French chateau-style Candy Spelling Mansion is also adored with double staircase inspired by the movie "Gone with the Wind," six reception rooms, a large frontage and a lodge next door. It also has a huge parking lot that can accommodate 100 cars.
Today, the Candy Spelling Mansion is allegedly the most pricey property listing in the U.S. If it will be sold in its asking price of $150 million, it will beat the record of the $147 million Hampton's estate sold this year.
The Candy Spelling Mansion was the second lavish property of Petra Ecclestone after her father gave her a six-story $90 million Chelsea house in London.
