Tom Wolf For Governor: Pennsylvania Governor Elect Wins After Spending $10 Million Of His Own Money

Tom Wolf for Governor! Shouted by the Pennsylvanians as Tom Wolf made a historic defeat against incumbent Republican Gov. Tom Corbett Tuesday.

The political race between Wolf and Corbett was said to be the most lucrative gubernatorial bet in Pennsylvania history. Tom Wolf for Governor campaign was a success after he spent a staggering $10 million from his own pocket.

"I am so grateful to the voters of Pennsylvania," Wolf stated during his acceptance speech.

The huge amount was reportedly from his own pocket while the rest was loaned by Wolf from M&T Bank and was spent over on powerful TV campaigns. Tom Wolf for Governor ad campaigns helped the governor win over the incumbent Republican Gov. Tom Corbett.

It was not an issue for the Pennsylvanians even Wolf, a businessman will be elected first time. Tom Wolf for Governor had been a sweet phrase for the people as they hear the TV campaigns. For sure this was the way that Wolf had won the hearts of the Pennsylvanians.

In his acceptance speech held at Utz Arena in York, Tuesday night, Wolf declared that he will give priority to education, focus on building more job opportunities and reorganize the personal income tax of the state.

Wolf is regarded as the state's 47th governor. Before Tom Wolf for governor candidacy started, he held the position as secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue from April 2007 until November 2008.

U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Florida Democrat and chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee says Tom Wolf has the right edge to create jobs for everyone in the state.

Tom Wolf garnered 55 percent or 1, 860, 352 votes over Corbett, who earned 45 percent and landed on getting 1, 533, 474 votes.

At the peak of Tom Wolf for Governor campaign, President and Mrs. Barack Obama and previous President Bill Clinton have raised strong support to Wolf as they travelled to the state to campaign for the winning Democrat.
