Ellen And Portia Fight: Why Did The Couple Cancel On Pet Charity Event?

Ellen and Portia have been the subject of rumors for a while now, from supposed news of their imminent break-up to rumors of the couple expecting a baby. While Ellen and Portia have thoroughly denied baby rumors, they don't seem to die down - and now, media outlets all over have reported that the Hollywood couple missed an event due to a huge fight!

Ellen and Portia (that is, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi) have been together since 2004, in a relationship that has spanned a full decade - and they've been married since 2008, not long after the same-sex ban on California was first lifted. Because of their long relationship, they've faced all kinds of rumors over the years - but lately, it seems like Ellen and Portia have been bombarded even more than usual.

Last weekend, several media outlets such as The Music Times reported that the couple failed to attend a charity event after they'd gone through an "epic fight." The rumor was that Ellen and Portia were on the way to the Saving SPOT! fundraiser at Tiato in Santa Monica when they decided to turn around and skip the event, in which they were sponsors. According to the site, reporters were expecting them and they never showed up.

"Ellen and Portia were delayed and were in the car on the way, when they had an epic fight. They ended up turning around and not going to the fundraiser," a supposed source said.

However, Ellen and Portia were quick to reply to the media that they were never going to go to the event in the first place. According to a statement Ellen's representatives released to PageSix, the entire thing was a misunderstanding.

"The story is a complete lie," Ellen's rep said "My client told the organizer they never agreed nor planned to attend the event. There was no fight that caused them not to attend."

Portia de Rossi was recently on The Ellen Show with her wife, where they both denied rumors of having a baby on the way.
