Robin Williams New Tribute After The Emmys: Death Remembered Emotionally By Actor’s Children At Giants Game

Robin Williams Tribute - The late "Mrs. Doubtfire" actor and very well-known comedian, Robin Williams, was paid a new tribute yesterday at a Giants game in San Francisco.

The tribute included Billy Crystal as the main host, Robin Williams' best friend who also lead the Emmy's 2014 tribute. Three important people in the late actor's life - his three kids - namely: Zak, Zelda and Cody, who were not present at the awards day tribute, were also in attendance.

The tribute started off with the AT&T big screen at the center-front of the field showing a slide show of the most memorable characters Robin Williams portrayed throughout his acting career, The Huffington Post noted.

Robin Williams' kids entered the field, wearing Giant's jerseys, before the players themselves made their entrance in the fifth game of the World Series.

Zak, Robin Williams's eldest son, had an excited look on his face as he threw the first pitch of the game at the hands of Billy Crystal. Cody and Zelda stood by the side watching.

"Great nite at WS in SF. Caught first pitch thrown by Zak Williams, Robin's son. Fans showered him with love," Billy Crystal wrote on Twitter, with The Giants retweeting the post on their account.

Apart from the emotional starting pitch, the team organized a minute of silence in respect for Robin Williams' passing. The Giants gave the jerseys as a personal gift as well, E!Online mentioned.

It makes complete sense that the tribute would be paid by the Giants. Billy Crystal had already mentioned at the Emmy's that one of the first conversations they had with Robin Williams was about teams.

He shared that he asked many years ago to the late actor which his favorite team was or if he followed any at all. Robin Williams told him that the Giants were it for him.

After that, they went repeatedly to different games and today, Robin Williams is not just remembered at the field that he loved so much, but the team has given the love back in the memorable tribute.
