Terry Keenan, Former CNN and Fox News Anchor Dies

Former Fox News reporter, Terry Keenan died late Thursday, told by the Hollywood Reporter.

Terry Keenan passed away on Oct.23 at the age of 53 from a massive cerebral hemorrhage and received treatment at New York's Lenox Hill Hospital as told by reports.

Keenan started her career with CNN in 1986 at CNN Business Week as a producer for "Moneyline". Keenan also anchored "Moneyline Weekend Edition with Terry Keenan". She was the first journalist to report live from the New York Stock Exchange.

She left CNN in 1995 and became an anchor for CNBC. In 2002, she began work with Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network as an anchor and business correspondent for the network. Kennan left Fox News in 2009. She was also the host of the investing program, "Cashin' In".

"It is with tremendous sorrow that we report the passing, due to a massive cerebral hemorrhage, of a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and pioneering financial journalist," Linda said in a statement to Mediaite.com.

"Terry was a trailblazer who credited much of her success to her beloved mother's emphasis on education, which led her to Holy Names Academy in Albany, NY, and a math scholarship to Johns Hopkins University."

Keenan graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Johns Hopkins in 1983.

She recently worked as a Sunday business columnist for the New York Post with her last column posted on Oct.19.

She is survived by Ronald Klass, her husband, a vice-president of a manufacturer of home decorating or furnishing products, son Benjamin and two sisters.
