2024 has been chock-full of recalls for Trader Joe's. In early February, it was their Chicken, Lentil, & Caramelized Onion Pilaf because there were rocks in it. Late February had Chicken Enchiladas Verde, Cilantro Salad Dressing, Elote Chopped Salad Kit, and Southwest Salad under recall due to possible Listeria contamination. Two weeks ago, they recalled their Chicken Soup Dumplings due to hard plastic contamination. And this week, it's their 50% Less Salt Roasted & Salted Whole Cashews sold in 16 states. The culprit? Potential Salmonella contamination which can cause symptoms like fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal cramps. Thankfully, no illnesses have been reported yet in connection with this recall.
