Selena Gomez Grown-Up Haters: Selena Gomez is 22 years old and both, a singer and actress. She is a big public figure but right now, what surprises her is the attitude that grown-ups show towards her.
Apparently, while Selena Gomez was promoting the new movie in which she stars on "Rudderless," which gets released tomorrow, Oct. 17, she got an interview with E!Online and she shared a few thoughts that have been troubling her lately.
"I get picked on by grown adults all the time. It's grown-ups and I don't get it. It just baffles me. I wish I could just sit them down and say, 'What were you doing at 15? What were you doing at 18? What were you doing at 21?' Because I can guarantee you it's not half of what I've done."
That was certainly having something to say. The funny detail is that many people are taking the statement very personally and are defensive about it, whilst others say they didn't get it.
Apparently, to a lot of people, when Selena Gomez said "grown-ups" she didn't refer to the entire population of grown people, but to tabloids and the people behind them.
That would actually be a logical way of thinking. She has also stated that for now she is keeping updated online with her fans through Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
That is true, as all of her accounts have constant messages that she shares every day. Also, the ex-Disney star has shared that right at the moment she is not interested in entering another TV show regularly.
Her plans at the moment seem to dwell more on doing other things and "being all over," as she mildly put it.
To finish up, the last message that Selena Gomez gave to the grown-ups "who pick on her" is that she won't let them win and that she will continue even if it is hard at times.
