Listeria Hysteria! Recalls Continue To Surge In The US. Is Your Fridge Infected?

There is a massive listeria outbreak in North America, with new products being recalled daily. To make things easier for you, we've compiled a list of all of the most recent product recalls in one place. We're continuing to keep tabs on the market and delivering recall news as it's announced. 

What Products Have Been Recalled For Listeria?

The US listeria outbreak is reaching epic proportions within our food supply. Many of the cases seem to stem from dairy ingredient producer Rizo-Lopez who we reported on last week. If you have purchased any of the products listed below, please dispose of them or return them to their place of purchase for a refund. 

Here are our most recent updates on infected produce. 

• Rizo Brothers Products: Cotija Cheeses dated through 07/31/2024, Oaxaca brand dated through 5/2/2024, Queso Fresco dated through 04/02/2024 
• Rojo's Black Bean 6 Layer Dip 2-20oz Club Pack: The product is sold only at Costco.
• The Perfect Bite Co.Mexican Style Street Corn Bites: Best By date of  02/21/2025.

• Don Pancho Cilantro Lime Crema at Costco: 2-pack 16 oz products purchased between January 19, 2024, and February 6, 2024.

• Don Pancho Crema Trio Pack: Products listed with a Best-By date of March 11th, 2024, and March 26th, 2024.

• Don Pancho Chicken Street Taco Express Meal Kit: 22-ounce tray with a Use By date range of 12/12/23-3/17/24
  

• Don Pancho Cilantro Lime Crema, Everything Sauce Fiesta, Cilantro Cotija dressing, Poblano Caesar dressing, and Cilantro Dressing: Available at H-E-B and Trader Joe's. 

• Trader Joe's: Cilantro Dressing, Chicken Enchiladas Verde, Elote Chopped Salad Kit, and Southwest Salad.

• Costco Southwest Chicken Wrap: Products were purchased at their Service Deli between October 27, 2023, and February 6, 2024. 

• Chicken Street Taco Kits: Sold at Save Mart, Lucky, and Lucky California stores.

• Dole, Marketside, President's Choice Salad Kits: Products were sold in the following states - AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, UT, VA, WA, and WI.

• Fresh and Ready, Sprig and Sprout, Jack and Olive Torta Sandwiches: Products were sold in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah. 

• Marketside Bacon Ranch Crunch Salad Kit

• Marketside Bacon Ranch Crunch Chopped Salad Kit

• Marketside, Ready Pac Bistro 

• Bright Farms Southwest Chipotle Crunch Kit Salad Kit: Products were sold in Delaware, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

• SaveMart Chicken Street Taco Kit: Products were sold sold at Save Mart, Lucky, and Lucky California store service delis. 

• Stater Bros Chicken Street Taco Kit:Sell-thru dates up to and including Feb. 10, 2024.

If you are worried you may have consumed listeria-infected products and are experiencing symptoms please consult a medical professional immediately. According to the FDA, mild symptoms may include a fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Sever symptoms may include headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions.
