Children and people of all ages love chicken because of its rich taste. However, the chicken you love is dangerous when you eat it raw. According to the United State's Food Safety, the temperature for cooking chicken and turkey must be 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

When chicken is eaten raw, it might carry salmonella, which can cause flu-like symptoms, including nausea and vomiting. They add that raw chicken should not be washed.
