Birdman Movie Cast Makes Appearance At New York Film Festival – And Steal The Show!

The Birdman movie cast, which features some heavy weights like Michael Keaton, Emma Stone and Zach Galifianakis among other big Hollywood names, took the New York Film Festival by storm, with many news outlets reporting it was the best film of the festival, and perhaps even the entire year. The Birdman movie cast has been busy over the past few days promoting their film, but it seems the high quality of the Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu film is doing most of the work by itself.

The Birdman movie cast counts Michael Keaton as its leading man, and the film tells the story of a burned-up actor who was once famous for playing a superhero in the big screen ... and, now, he is about to do a comeback, going back to the stage.

Of course, many have drawn comparisons to Michael Keaton's own career (since he starred in Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns films in 1989 and 1992 respectively), but while Keaton has lowered his profile, he's continued to work in many films ever since - but that's not to say the Birdman movie cast isn't lucky to have someone with that kind of profile as their leading man!

According to different news outlets, the Birdman film, full name Birdman (or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), might just be the best movie of the year and a strong contender come award season.

According to The Huffington Post, the strong Birdman movie cast features Emma Stone playing Keaton's post-rehab daughter, Zach Galifianakis as his best friend/manager/lawyer, Edward Norton as a prestigious and currently famous stage actor and Naomi Watts as a film star who is now making her debut in the Broadway scene.

So far, Birdman has a rating of 8.4 on user-based website IMDb and a 93% "fresh" rating average on critics-based site Rotten Tomatoes. It might be time to go to theaters and check out Michael Keaton's comeback!
