Taking first place and crowned as the biggest food trend of 2020 is the pancake cereal. According to Fox News, Chef My Nguyen baked mini pancakes that are blended with strawberry milk powder that wowed more than 1.6 million TikTokers since May.

Reaching the top 2 is none other than the challenging whipped coffee or better known as Dalgona coffee. Reports from Food Tribe stated that this Korean trend exploded across the internet during March of this year. Plenty of videos flooded the internet, immortalizing both success and utter failure to make this coffee-based dish.

It seemed like people are fond of making cereal dishes out of anything, and because of that, the Donut cereal came in at number five on the TikTok food trend list. Mini donuts were fried and frosted, then served in a bowl with milk to eat by the spoonful and received more than 37,700 views.
