Reese Witherspoon Arrest

Reese Witherspoon reflected on her disorderly conduct arrest in April. The star shocked her fans when she was arrested last year and a video surfaced of her bad mouthing a police officer next to her husband who was later charged with DUI.

Reese Witherspoon's good girl reputation took a beating when the star was arrested last year. The news hit all the major headlines, showing the world a different picture of the girl they had all come to love through her roles in movies and television.

The star has appeared in movies such as Legally Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama and Walk the Line. The 38 year old star show cased her not so pleasant side when she bad mouthed a police officer over her arrest. She was taped shouting, "Do you know my name? You're about to find out who I am ... You are going to be on national news."

A year and a half later, Witherspoon recalls the FBI incident saying it showed the world a different side of her. "I guess maybe we all like to define people by the way the media presents them, and I think that I showed I have a complexity that people didn't know about."

Reese said that the best she could do as a human being was to learn from her mistakes and move on. She added that making mistakes was part of human nature, something she herself could not run away from.

Reese pleaded a no contest to the charge of disorderly conduct. Toth, her husband, pleaded guilty to his DUI charge and was given 40 hours of community service, and ordered to attend an alcohol education program. He also received a 12 month probation.

The star is currently promoting her new film Wild, where she plays a heroin addict. A not so good girl role.
