Spice lovers all over the country will be rejoiced to hear that there is a new Taco Bell Sriracha menu that's just being tried out - although it's only in Kansas City for the moment, if it's a success (which is quite possible, given how popular Sriracha has become over the past few years) the menu might expand to other cities in the country, and perhaps even abroad.
The Taco Bell Sriracha menu had been a rumor going around the Internet for a while now, but the company that owns the popular Mexican themed fast food chain, Yum! Brands, has now confirmed to The Washington Post that the Taco Bell Sriracha menu is more than rumors and actually a reality!
The Taco Bell Sriracha menu is only the latest antic around the hot sauce, which has grown more and more popular over the past few years. Other companies have also jumped at the chance to have Sriracha-flavored products: Subway now features a Sriracha chicken melt, and at some point Lays released special edition Sriracha-flavored potato chips as well.
The Taco Bell Sriracha menu is currently going through a testing period in Kansas City, which only began last Thursday and is set to go on until mid November. The items on the menu are:
- Sriracha Beef Griller (on the grill)
- Sriracha Taco and Taco Supreme (the famous sauce featured on the classic Taco Bell tacos)
- Sriracha Quesarito (quesadilla/burrito with Sriracha)
- Sriracha Nachos
- Sriracha Quesarito Box
- Sriracha Grande Scrambler (because sometimes the body just needs some hot sauce to wake up in the morning)
While fans of the California-based hot sauce await the triumphant national release of the Taco Bell Sriracha menu, they can find out a bit more about the hot sauce that's had everyone fall in love with it in the past few years!
