The plant-based meat industry is fast moving into the next phase of growth, and a hot topic at the Plant Based World Conference and Expo in New York City last week was the balance brands must strike between rapid growth and maintaining their distinct personalities.
Sweet Earth, which recently announced that it's launching the plant-based Awesome Burger and a vegan ground-beef like product called Awesome Grounds later this year, is an example of a company that's growing fast under a big corporate parent while maintaining its distinct identity.
