What Just Happened to Cadbury?

Cadbury has been evolving over the last few years which is leaving consumers quite perplexed as they wonder what is really happening to their favorite chocolate factory.

Yes, the mighty have fallen. Cadbury, one of the great Victorian firms that were established by Quakers, is losing its essence.

Cadbury's evolution is not really a positive one as many people are disappointed in seeing how they change their products and even pricing. Many consumers of Cadbury are disappointed in how the chocolate factory is altering its standards in order to make more profit.

One incident that left consumers upset is the changing of the crème egg recipe for its outer shell. Though Cadbury's intention was to revert back to the original recipe of this chocolaty Easter egg, most people did not enjoy the taste of this new treat. The worst part is that Cadbury witnessed a huge amount of criticism from many Cadbury fans and also lost £10 million in sales last year.

The chocolate coins that we love to relish did not help Cadbury company in their profit level, and this made them stop the production of Cadbury coins. However, this was another incident that left Cadbury fans quite sad. Though chocolate coins are still available from other brands, Cadbury's coins had a rich chocolate essence which does no longer exist.

Lately, you have been noticing how dairy products have just been reducing its size. Well, it is not just dairy milk. Many other Cadbury products have become smaller. The big tin of Roses chocolates is deteriorating in terms of its size, however, the prizes still have never come down based on the quantity.

The factory at Somerdale, near Bristol, was closed in 2010 leaving hundreds of people stranded with no jobs. This way a huge downfall as many people lost their faith in the company.
