Iggy Azalea Divorce - Is it possible to be married to someone and never really know about it? Apparently, yes it is. Or that is at least what happened to Iggy Azalea, whose 'husband' filed for divorce.
Iggy Azalea's 'divorce' in question if from her ex-boyfriend Hefe Wine, and who was also her former manager and very recently tried selling a sex tape that he has allegedly said it was from Iggy and him.
Now, he is claiming that he has filed for divorce, as TMZ noted, after they were in a relationship back in 2008. It seems like they were living together at the time and according to Texas Law, if a man and a woman live together and say basically to other people that they are husband and wife, then they are so.
The complicated part about this 'divorce' including Iggy Azalea is that there are no signed papers whatsoever, there is nothing certified, as the Daily Mail reported. So, to bring a case of marriage without any sort of proof and without the recognition even of the other person is a tad complicated.
Besides that fact, Iggy Azalea has been in a relationship since 2013 with Nick Young, the LA Lakers Basketball player. Still, Hefe Wine had that covered when saying, "They only started living apart last year," as Hollywood Life mildly put it.
It's also a complicated situation for Iggy Azalea if this 'divorce' gets recognized by a judge because it would mean that she would have to separate her winnings on a half and half arrangement with Hefe Wine.
Iggy Azalea was asked today by a TMZ reporter about her thoughts on the matter and she responded, "That's like somebody I dated for about six months when I was 17. I haven't heard from this person in years." And then the reporter asked her if she thought if this was just a "money grab" situation, and she agreed to it by saying, "Yes, I think it's pretty obvious that's what it is."
