Gwyneth Paltrow Obama Dinner - Yesterday, Thursday October 9th, President Barack Obama stopped by in Los Angeles and attended a reception and dinner that took place in Gwyneth Paltrow's home.
Gwyneth Paltrow, the very well-known actress for her roles in several movies, but more recently in Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Iron Man 3 (2013) and in the hit-series Glee (2010-2014). Also, not to forget that she is married to Chris Martin, the lead vocalist of Coldplay, even if they announced earlier this year that they are 'conscious uncoupling.'
Anyhow, it was in her backyard in Brentwood, Los Angeles that she let the Democratic Party "crash," as Obama so mildly put it when he spoke. A reception was organized and a dinner to raise money for the whole fundraising campaign to support Obama that California is doing.
According to ABC News, the tickets for the reception were at $1,000 dollars and the tickets for the dinner were valued at $15,000 dollars, having as two of the attendants to Julia Roberts and Bradley Whitford.
It seems that while introducing Obama at the dinner, Gwyneth Paltrow had some trouble expressing herself and even said, "you're so handsome that I can't speak properly." She also shared, "I am one of your biggest fans, if not the biggest, and have been since the inception of your campaign."
Later on, she asked support to the people by asking them to give to Obama the power he needs in order to do the projects that are necessary to everybody. When Obama spoke at the dinner, he addressed many matters, such as: the Islamic State, equal payments for women and Ebola, as the Washington Post noted. He also addressed the matter of helping people in West Africa who are dying in the streets on their own.
To end up, Obama made a joke about taking Gwyneth Paltrow to his next event after so much gushing coming from her towards him and his campaign.
