The Brittany Murphy Story- Still Unclosed

Brittany Murphy, born Brittany Anne Bertolotti on November 10, 1977 died untimely on December 20, 2009. Almost five years had passed, and still the real cause Brittany's death remains unclosed.

Brittany's death is considered one of the most shocking happenings in Hollywood. The 'Clueless' actress was just 32 when she died and her cause of death was revealed- she died of natural causes.

The death of Brittany didn't end all the controversies. Unsatisfied with the L.A. County coroner's investigation result, her father Angelo Bertolotti pursued his own private examination on her daughter's death, after an apparent incomplete autopsy.

In 2012, Brittany's father filed a case against Los Angeles Coroner's Office and the Los Angeles Police Department for "failure to conduct toxicology tests on the specimens of hair" and claimed "his daughter's death was incorrectly determined to have been allegedly caused by pneumonia, multiple drug intoxication and anemia," according to Hollywood Reporter.

Speculation about her death still remains unsolved. Five months after, Brittany's 40-year old husband, Simon Monjack was also found dead with the same cause.

In November 2013, Bertolotti received test results from The Carlson Company conducting the private investigation. The result states that Brittany had high quantities of heavy metals commonly found in (pesticides, rat poison, insecticides, etc.) in her system which believed could had killed her.

Two days before Brittany's four-year death anniversary Bertolotti received the second test results from Exova, and it also showed the same result-her daughter died of heavy metals intoxication.

Brittany was on her way to stardom when she died in 2009. She dated her co-star in the film 'Just Married,' Ashton Kutcher and had two other serious relationships- Jeff Kwantinetz (talent manager) and Joe Macaluso (production assistant) that even led to engagements. She got married to Monjack, a screenwriter in 2007.

The 'Clueless' actress is seen in her breakthrough roles Clueless (1995), Freeway (1996) and Bongwater (1998), Interrupted (1999), Don't Say a Word (2001), Spun (2002), Uptown Girls (2003), Sin City (2005), and Happy Feet (2006). Her final movie 'Something Wicked' was slated in April 2014.
