Seems like the 28-year old actress Amanda Bynes has been dragged into serious hurdles lately. How will she be able to handle the scandal this time?
The controversial 'hairspray girl' just recently got back from Manhattan on Friday. Sept. 28 she was charged with DUI where she filed a bail of $15,000 for a same day release in California. She was also arrested for 'wreaking havoc' in New York. This time, she has been accused of shoplifting for stealing a $200 hat at Barneys New York on Madison Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
Bynes supposedly walked out of Barneys wearing a $200 hat, where security picked her up for questioning. Witnesses claim that the Nickelodeon star is like 'acting crazy,' she didn't even get upset when the security interrogated her.
The 28-year old actress explained that she was being followed by fans inside the high-end store that's why she was wearing the hat to cover her face. She added that she didn't intent to steal. After listening to her side and issuing to sign a no-trespass agreement, the guards released her. It's not clear whether Barneys will press charges against the starlet.
Meanwhile, the temporary conservatorship of her mother, Lynn Bynes ended Sept.10. Her father, Rick Bynes told reporters, "She is 28. She does what she wants." Since the conservatorship ended, Bynes has been into mishaps more than ever. Her mother Lynn was been worried so much about her that she's planning to visit her in the "Big Apple."
Amanda Laura Bynes was seen in the "Nickelodeon series All that" and "The Amanda Show." She also starred in the TV sitcom "What I like about you."
Amanda Bynes is presently serving her three years of probation for her DUI arrest in 2012.
