New Harry Potter Book Coming Up? J.K. Rowling, The Saga’s Author, Teases Fans About Possible Upcoming Novel!

The author of the boy wizard saga, Joanne Rowling, pen name J.K. Rowling, has been teasing her Twitter fans with riddles about the possibility of a new Harry Potter book in the works - she's stated that she's working on a new novel, for one thing, and she released an unintelligible message that could be an anagram saying she's working on a new Harry Potter book.

The Potter book fans are familiar with anagrams in the series, as the nemesis of the famous Boy Who Lived, Lord Voldemort, took his name from an anagram: from "Tom Marvolo Riddle" to "I am Lord Voldemort."

Because of this, when the famous British author tweeted the cryptic message "Cry, foe! Run amok! Fa awry! My wand won't tolerate this nonsense," entertainment and fan websites were quick to rearrange the words, and Movie Pilot reports that one Reddit user said the words were a perfect anagram for "Harry returns! Won't say any details now. A week off. No comment." So, it could mean that a new Harry Potter book is on the works!

It would make sense if the anagram is indeed the one the user suggested, as before the author was taunting fans on Twitter by saying she was very busy working on a screenplay (famously, for the upcoming adaptation of the Hogwarts school book, Magical Creatures and Where to Find Them). She also said she was working on a new novel and her involvement with her charity, Lumos. Before, she had told a user that she was "tempted to post a riddle or an anagram" - and then, not long afterward, she did. Could this possibly mean that she's working on a new Harry Potter book, between her many other projects?

Of course, fans of the fantasy series are thrilled, in an era that's seeing revivals of beloved series - from the new Star Wars movies to the Hobbit films. Let's hope we can see a new Harry Potter book in the future - and see what happens in the next week!
