Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay recently guest starred in Jimmy Kimmel Live. The renowned chef and restaurateur is one of the most known names in the culinary world. He is also the owner to some of the most successful restaurants out there.
His restaurant in Chelsea London, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, has received 3 Michelin Stars 14 times in 15 years of its operation. The chef is also notorious for his strong personality and "colorful language" in some of his TV shows like Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. He also stars in Masterchef as one of the main judges and he has several cooking shows in where he shows a more relaxed attitude like in Gordon Ramsay Back to Basics.
From the Jimmy Kimmel Live episode clip, they talk about Gordon's show Hell's Kitchen and his restaurants. Jimmy mentions that he found out Gordon has never before tasted Girl Scout cookies. From here on forward hilarity ensues. Jimmy says to Gordon "I'm going to first warn you, this is almost like sacred territory you're entering here, OK? There's the American flag; there's Willie Nelson; and Girl Scout cookies. Those are the only three things we care about."
Jimmy brings out 3 classic Girl Scout cookie flavors; Tagalong, Samoas, and Thin Mints. Gordon quips that the cookies look like dog biscuits. As he takes a bite of the Tagalong, Gordon expresses confusion to its name. Jimmy quickly answers, "It's an Indian word. It means dog biscuit."
As Gordon takes a Samoas cookie, Jimmy's sidekick, Guillermo, arrives with a glass of milk. Jimmy expresses to Gordon that Guillermo is lactating, therefore, the milk is natural. Gordon finds the taste of the Samoas weird and spits it out. He proceeds to discard the cookie beside his chair to the amusement of the viewers.
As they Get to the Thin Mints, Jimmy excitedly expresses how these are his favorite. Gordon takes one bite and before Jimmy could ask whether Gordon likes them, Gordon again spits out the cookie inciting laughter from Jimmy and the viewers. Chef Gordon Ramsay has been shown tasting the some of the most unappealing and unappetizing food in his shows and he has always been honest when it comes to his taste buds. Jimmy now believes that Gordon's Visa has just expired.
