David Lynch And Coffee Get Together Once Again – Twin Peaks Is Back! [VIDEO]

David Lynch Coffee - If you have seen Twin Peaks you will know what the phrase "damn good coffee" means, won't you? Well, it is now a hashtag as well, as Mark Frost and David Lynch are back together to deliver a new season of Twin Peaks!

In 2015 will be the 25th year anniversary of the Twin Peaks premiere. It lasted for two seasons, starting in 1990 and following on through 1991. It was an incredible success as it opened the doors to a new genre. Many people say that detective series came after this one.

Or at least, detective series in a completely bizarre universe like the Twin Peaks one was. In there, anything was possible and things many times didn't have an explanation. Like it happened later on with other series that took this formula and made it work for their own universe.

After it was over, several years later, David Lynch was asked in an interview with Empire in 2001, "Would you ever go back to Twin Peaks?" to which he answered, "No. Uh-uh. It's as dead as a doornail."

Luckily, matters change and somehow this anniversary that is taking place soon, worked to change his mind. The series will be filming in 2015 and will air in 2016. David Lynch and Mark Frost, the original creators, have written the episodes and David Lynch will be directing them, according to Deadline.

Another thing that is returning is David Lynch's famous coffee. Well, really the one who said the phrase "Damn good coffee" was Agent Cooper, the main character, who visited the coffee shop and drank it with a pie. It was very often that he did this in the series.

That's why on Friday, when both David Lynch and Mark Frost wrote the same twitter post on their accounts, everyone knew what it was about. It said, "Dear Twitter friends: That gum you like is going to come back in style! #Damngoodcoffee"

They posted it at 11:30 am, which happens to be the time when Agent Cooper first arrives to Twin Peaks. And today, this video was posted.

It seems like "damn good coffee" will be the catch phrase for a while, now that David Lynch and Twin Peaks will be back.
