Katy Perry’s GameDay Adventure: The Singer Roars to College Football on ESPN! [VIDEO]

The newest venture of the hit pop singer has little to do with music, as she goes for a whole new experience: commenting college football. Don't miss out the details about Katy Perry's GameDay appearance last weekend.

Katy Perry's GameDay appearance is part of the ESPN's program of Celebrity Picks, where they have famous people from all varieties show up to predict how games outcomes will go over the day. Katy Perry's GameDay wasn't the first nor will be the last of its kind - but it might just be the one that gathers the most attention in the media!

Katy Perry's GameDay appearance featured some of the singer's known silly humor, which in this case even included her showing to have a huge crush on the Oklahoma quarterback, Trevor Knight. All of Katy Perry's GameDay choices were silly jokes about who the singer found attractive: when asked whether Maryland or Ohio State would win on the day, the 'Fireworks' singer picked Ohio ... because of its former quarterback Kirk Herbstreit, who was one of the commentators in last Saturday's show!

Taking into account Katy Perry's GameDay appearance, it seems the famous California Gurl is quite a fan of football ... or, at least, of handsome quarterbacks!

While Perry wasn't nearly as educated in matters of America's favorite sport as her co-hosts, she certainly seemed to have fun taking random picks of her favorite teams, as they broadcast live from the University of Mississippi campus.

Reportedly, Katy Perry landed the GameDay gig thanks to her manager, an Ole Miss alumnus. In any case, last Saturday she joined host Chris Fowler and analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard to talk about that day's college football occurrences and possible outcomes - plus, she mentioned she was in talks to perform at the next Super Bowl. And she even threw a corn dog at the camera!
