'Deadpool' sure has been busy, first with the run of '12 Days of Deadpool' then with sweet-talking reality star Kim Kardashian's Kimoji through the brand new 'Deadpool' emojis, but prior to those going into an epic rap battle with 'Star Wars' character Boba Fett.
Seven days into the '12 Days of Deadpool' Christmas build up for the film's official trailer release, the producers and team behind the franchise teases with a 'revelation' of a page of the 'Deadpool' script. Said page is all about a smashup among Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), Colossus (Andre Tricoteux) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), where Deadpool's [SPOILER!] wrists and ankles crack and break in the force of Colossus' steely wrapping.
While the scene in itself is an exciting peek into the combat between the anti-hero and the X-Men, what's captured public fancy is what's on the script - literally. Keeping with Deadpool's love and, sometimes destructive, habit of breaking the fourth wall the script page is peppered with Deadpool's own snipes, insights and commentaries. Oh yes, it also has Deadpool's brand of artistry all seen in 'Deadpool''s official Twitter.
Deadpool's prior six days of teasing so far offered a 'Wait 'Til You Get A Load Of Me' poster ' with Deadpool holding a cocked gun, a nutty video of Ryan Reynolds, a Deadpool battle plan of sorts, Deadpool's Christmas wish list and a graphics with Deadpool as the poster boy for knitted jumper sweaters.
In other updates, the Deadpool emoji for both iOS and Android devices has finally been released. This coincides with the debut of Kim Kardashian's Kimoji - with which, of course, Ryan Reynolds had a lot of fun creating an imaginary conversation between the Merc with a Mouth and "Kimmie K" that later found its way on the actor's Twitter: "WOW. This is an ACTUAL chat between #Deadpool & @KimKardashian that totally didn't happen."
The supehero emojis are completely free to download, while Kimmie K's one are paid emojis. But while Deadpool emojis are sweet-talking Kimmie, he was recently seen head-to-head with Boba Fett in 'Epic Rap Battles of History: Deadpool vs Boba Fett'.
Deadpool tried to get Fett's goat with the character's lack of lines in the 'Star Wars' films: "I barely even know enough about you to diss you: Presenting the most overrated character anyone ever saw with five lines in the trilogy and one of them was 'AAAH!'"
Fett hits Deadpool with a jab at his looks: "You're a Deathstroke rip-off. You stole Spider-Man's eyes and Snake Eyes' weapons; you got Wolverine's powers. Man, you're comic sloppy seconds."
