Tracy Morgan Update: After Star of 30 Rock Crashed Last Summer, How Are Things Going For The Actor?

The latest Tracy Morgan updates have the former Saturday Night Live comedian being accused by multinational retail company Wal-Mart of having failed to use a seatbelt at the time of his well-publicized car crash, when he was traveling inside a limousine that crashed against a truck owned by the company.

Tracy Morgan's updates have been nothing but worrying in the past few months, as the actor was part of a serious car crash that killed one of his friends and has him fighting in court alongside the other passengers of the vehicle against Wal-Mart, who owned the truck that started the crash where Morgan and others were injured.

Last Monday, the latest Tracy Morgan updates came to light, when Wal-Mart lawyers stated in court that the responsibility of the injuries really laid on the passengers of the limousine, all of whom had failed to wear a seatbelt at the time of the ride (like Morgan and also his fellow comedian friend, James McNair, who was actually killed in the crash).

The newest Tracy Morgan update consists on Wal-Mart Stores Inc. statement, where the company said that there had been a "failure to properly wear an appropriate available seatbelt restraint device" on the part of the passengers of the limousine. As such, Wal-Mart went on to say that Morgan and his fellow passengers "upon information and belief, acted unreasonably and in disregard" of their best interests, according to Reuters.

The Tracy Morgan update comes while the actor is in the middle of a lawsuit to the retail company, along with fellow limousine passengers at the time of the crash Ardley Fuqua Jr, Morgan's assistant Jeffrey Millea and Millea's wife, Krista Millea.

Their suit, which was placed in July 10 (the crash happened on June 7), claimed that Wal-Mart knew or should have known that the truck driver, Kevin Roper, had been awake and on duty for over 24 hours before the crash - a lapse that would make legally unable him to drive.
