Andy Kaufman’s Death: Fake Hoax Bob Zmuda ‘Reveals’ In New Book

Andy Kaufman's Death - How many times can a person die? Andy Kaufman, the late Comedian and Actor, has died far too many times in different theories by several people along the years. Maybe that could mean that he really hasn't passed away? Bob Zmuda believes so and shares it in his new book.

Andy Kaufman's death did not happen at all in the set of Andy Kaufman: The Truth, Finally, written both by Andy Kaufman's best friend and writing partner Bob Zmuda and Lynne Marguilles, his last girlfriend.

The book is coming out in October 7th and can be found in Amazon, but many of the main theories he shares can already be seen in The New York Post or at least allegations of them.

Apparently, Andy Kaufman faked his own death and it all started in his childhood, when he lost his "Papu," (grandfather) and his parents didn't tell him that he had died but instead told him that he "went away to another country far, far across the ocean and wasn't coming back." After this, it seems that somehow, Andy Kaufman lost the notion of death as a fact and converted it into something that can be made up.

Again, all these notions are shared in the article mentioned before, and they are supposedly the theories from the book.

Then, somewhere along 1982, Andy Kaufman called Bob Zmuda and told him that he would indeed fake his death and they got together to talk about it.

Bob Zmuda found the whole thing too bizarre and didn't want any part in it.

Andy Kaufman started planning his own death and looking for believable ways to do it. It's been quoted that early in his cancer state, he told people he got ill "for eating too much chocolate."

Then, he decided to stick with cancer and when he started coughing repeatedly, Zmuda told him "Stop with the coughing already - I think it's a dead giveaway," to which Andy Kaufman answered, "I don't know. Everyone seems to believe it."

After that, Andy Kaufman got completely into the role, figured a way to allegedly find a double of body that looked like him and was indeed sick with cancer and that is the person they buried.

And then, he vanished.

Before that, Andy Kaufman told Bob Zmuda how long he would be gone by expressing, "If I was going to be a little boy about it, I'd go into hiding for two or three years. But if I was going to be a man about it, it'd be 20 or 30 years."

Andy Kaufman has died in 1984, which would make of this year the 30th and counting. There are too many theories revealed in this book and apparently, Bob Zmuda wrote it only to see Andy emerge because the time was up.

Again, there are too many alleged and apparent truths surrounding the entire death of Andy Kaufman, so we'll have to wait and see.
