Dennis Haskins, known for playing the principal on "Saved by the Bell", graduated from college on Saturday, December 12, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in theater and speech.
The 65-year-old, actor shared the news with his followers on what appears to be his official Instagram page.
"It's official! Tassel moved from right to left! I'm a graduate! #UTC#TheaterandSpeech #GoMocs," Dennis Haskins captioned the pic.
Haskins completed the remainder of his courses, earning a theater and speech degree, according to TMZ.
“At 65 years of age I just got my degree,” Haskins told TMZ on Monday, December 7. “So the principal gets his degree! About time! You can have your Fall Out Boys, you can have your Lauren Conrads. I’m graduating!”
The school said in a statement that Haskins "earned all of the academic credits necessary to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree," according to the college website. In a Livestream video from the university's ceremony, Haskins can be seen taking the stage at around 1:36:45.

Haskins, who left school decades ago, received a "Distinguished Alumni" honor in 2000, but he explained in a statement on the school’s website that he still felt like he was missing something.
"As successful as some have said I've been, from the incredible success of Saved by the Bell, other quality acting roles. Dennis Haskins shared.
The books I've written, and even UTC Distinguished Alumni in 2000, there's always been something missing for me—my college degree," he said in a statement posted on UTC's website. He added.
Haskins starred on Saved by the Bell and all of its spinoffs, which aired between 1989 and 2000. He went on to appear on shows such as Men of a Certain Age, Mad Men, New Girl and Hot in Cleveland.
Saved by the Bell is an American television sitcom that aired on NBC from 1989 to 1993.
