Benefits of Coca Cola’s Vitamin Water Energy You Should Know

Vitamin water energy is an energy drink that comes in different flavours. Although manufactured by the Coca Cola Company, vitamin water energy drink is entirely different from vitamin water, also manufactured by Coca-Cola. Other than its hydrating benefits, it has plenty of other benefits you did not know about.

It contains a certain amount of caffeine that occurs equally in all its flavours and it uses cane sugar and stevia as sweeteners, all fruitful alternatives to the calorie inducing artificial sweeteners. The caffeine contained in this drink is derived from green coffee beans.

Vitamin water energy drink comes in strawberry-lime, berry-punch, orange-mango and raspberry citrus flavours.  The rasp berry flavour is not as common as the other three. The ingredients in each drink include less than 0.5% of: citric acid, vitamin C (ascorbic acid), fruit and vegetable juice (colour), natural flavours, green coffee bean extract, magnesium lactate, vitamin B5, carbonated reverse osmosis water, cane sugar and stevia leaf extract. This drink has changed the fructose-cane sugar mix used in the previous to a stevia- cane sugar mix. This drink is therefore remarkably less sweetened. Each 100ml of vitamin water energy contains 6.96 milligrams of caffeine.

The producers of the brand pride in the fact that the drink contains no artificial or processed elements in it. It is hoped that this will encourage consumption of the drink, as it has no added sodium or preservatives. The lack of preservatives should appeal to lovers of natural energy drinks a lot.  It is not celebration for everyone though as some consumers dislike the new taste of the drink and have condemned the introduction of the stevia extract. They prefer the sweeter brand that contained fructose and not stevia.

Producers of vitamin water energy advise pregnant and nursing women and people who are sensitive to caffeine to keep off the drink. The product is an attempt by the company to remain relevant with vitamin water not doing so well.
