American Woman Beheaded in Oklahoma

A thirty year old man by the name Alton Alexander Nolen attacked two female colleagues, beheading one and stabbing the other. The events took place on Thursday, 25th September 2014 at a food store in Moore, Oklahoma.

It is reported that the Oklahoma beheading murderer had been fired as an employee of Vaughan Foods, a food distribution company that Thursday morning. He returned to the premises at around 4 pm and attacked the first people he saw. The two people happened to be the two women, one aged 54 and the other, who is now recovering from stab wounds aged 43. He used a fillet knife to execute the attacks. To prevent more attacks, the Plant's manager and former owner, Mark Vaughan shot Nolen and he is now recovering in hospital.

It is also alleged that before he entered the premises, he smashed his SUV into another car outside the factory. His co-workers have reported that the tattooed Nolen had recently converted into Islam, and had been persuading them to convert as well.  It has not, however, been reported whether his beliefs had to do anything with his actions. The beheading was shockingly scary as it came amidst the same kind of punishment being imposed publicly by ISIS.

Besides the above, it has also been reported that Nolen is an ex-convict. He had served time for drug-related offences as well as assault on a police officer. The picture painted of Nolen by his co-workers has aroused in the authorities an interest to know more about his background. As such, the FBI is looking into that to see whether it could have been the reason for his behaviour. It has been suggested that the two victims were not specific targets for Nolan's crime, they only happened to be the first people he encountered.
