Meek Mill Jail: Is Rapper In Big Trouble For Taking Nicki Minaj To The AMAs?

Meek Mill asked his fans to pray for him in what might be his last Instagram post for a long time.

It's been just over a year since Meek Mill got out of prison, during which he dropped a No. 1 album and got himself into a serious relationship with Nicki Minaj, but, today, the MMG spitter implied that he might be heading back. "I'm actually fighting for my life and freedom," he wrote on Instagram.

The 28-year-old and his lady love Nicki Minaj had a great time together at the American Music Awards on November 22, but their fun night out could end up really costing Meek.

His trip to Los Angeles with his the 33-year-old diva might have been a violation of his probation, and if that’s the case, Meek will be going to jail.

According to TMZ, Meek was scheduled to appear in court this morning, December 10, for allegedly violating his probation. This seems to be the case, as, in the above Instagram post, Meek explained that he was still dealing with the consequences of a charge he picked up when back he was 19 years old.

"Something I've been going thru from a case I caught at 19 years old and been on probation since... I am 28 now ... It's funny to see people on the internet laughing and joking about me and my family going thru these things, it's just shows me where the world is at nowadays!" he included in the lengthy post.

Meek has been on probation for a 2008 drug and gun conviction, and he is required to obtain a travel voucher before leaving his hometown of Philadelphia.

The court documents say that this has been in place since November 1, which means he should’ve gotten a voucher prior to the November 22 AMAs. If the judge finds that he did indeed violate his probation, Meek’s probation could be revoked, and he could be headed to jail.

The judge has kept a tight rein on the Philadelphia performer's travels and activities over the years.

She has ordered him to take anger management and etiquette classes and occasionally sent him back to jail for various infractions. She has also extended terms of his supervised release.
