Viola Davis New Show - One thing is for a TV show to be promoted profusely, another one is that once it has begun, then discussions start, some being on the show's side, other on the contrary. But it's not so often that a show causes so much controversy before its first airing of the Pilot like Viola Davis new show How to Get Away With Murder.

How to Get Away With Murder is airing for the first time tomorrow, Sept. 25th on ABC and it is about a Professor played by Viola Davis who has a Law Firm and gives classes in a Law School. She teaches her students "how to get away with murder" and they all go to extremes to have success in her class and enter the firm. The conflict is exactly, how far would they go to be successful?

It will be airing on Thursdays and it the Executive Producer is Shonda Rhimes, the Creator of TV hits Scandal and Grey's Anatomy.

The conflict that this new show starring Viola Davis has is that an article was written by The New York Times stating that Shonda Rhimes was an "Angry Black-Woman," and after this lots of Actresses came out to defend Shonda.

In the same article, Alessandra Stanley described Viola Davis as "less than classically beautiful", as The Huffington Post noted.

To this, Viola Davis returned, "You may shoot me with your words, you may cut me with your eyes, you may kill me with your hatefulness, But still, like air, I'll rise!" which is quoted from the poem Still I Rise from Maya Angelou.

Apart from that, Viola Davis was invited to Jimmy Kimmel Live and was asked if she would Live Tweet the show like Shonda Rhimes apparently does with the rest of the stars from other shows, and she refused.

So, Viola Davis seems to already call the attention with her new show with her new show not even starting yet. This is truly remarkable.
