Winona Ryder: Star Of Edward Scissorhands And Little Women, Is The New Face Of Marc Jacobs Beauty - See Her Stunning New Ad!

The "Little Women," actress, Winona Ryder was announced as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty via designer's Instagram page on Monday, December 7.

“It is with great pride (and pleasure) that I ‘leak’ this image from our upcoming 2016 MARC JACOBS BEAUTY campaign,” The designer captioned his photo. “It stars my dear friend (of over two and a half decades), the stunningly beautiful and extraordinarily talented, Winona Ryder.”

The company tweeted out the announcement, saying: "We're pleased to announce the new face of #MarcJacobsBeauty is the iconic actress, #WinonaRyder."

In the newly released ad, Winona Ryder showcases her flawless complexion and some major cat eye for an overall gorgeous first look at Marc Jacobs spring 2016 collection.

According to Allure, this will be Ryder’s first beauty campaign. In a recent interview with the magazine, she described the intensity of the inaugural photo shoot, as well as her adjustment to a model’s relationship with a camera.

Jacobs shared, his inspiration for the campaign came from the look of French actress Delphine Seyrig in the 1961 film “The Last Year at Marienbad” — although, with those pearls, bold cat eye, and delicate expression, the "Reality Bites," actress, Winona is also serving some serious British actress like Audrey Hepburn vibes.

It’s been close to 14 years since Winona Ryder was arrested for shoplifting, she was charged with grand theft after Saks Fifth Avenue store clerks in Beverly Hills said they saw Ryder place an estimated $4,760 worth of clothes and accessories and among them were Marc Jacobs sweater worth $760.

The 44-year-old, star served 480 hours of community service, paid hefty fines and underwent counselling following her conviction of grand theft.

In 2004, the charges were reduced to misdemeanours, and she remained on probation until December 2005.

Ryder was engaged to actor Johnny Depp for three years beginning in July 1990.

During their relationship, Depp had a tattoo placed on his arm reading "Winona Forever", which he had altered to "Wino Forever" after their separation in mid-1993.
