Jessica Capshaw and her husband, Christopher Gavigan, are expecting their fourth child together. The Grey's Anatomy actress announced the news with a nice family photo on Saturday, December 5.
“The holidays have certainly arrived…All of our lives are being added to by the lights, the music and cheer!!” Jessica captioned a photo of her family at a Christmas tree farm on Instagram.
She continued, “This year our family has reason to further broaden our smile…baby number four is on the way!! I am a lucky, lucky girl…”
Businessman Gavigan. is the co-founder of Jessica Alba's "The Honest Company," on May 22, 2004, at her family's East Hampton estate.
Christopher Gavigan is the former chief executive officer of Healthy Child Healthy World.
He holds degrees in environmental science and geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has extensive graduate training in child psychology and education
Jessica and Christopher has been married since 2004 and were already parents to eight-year-old son Luke, and daughters Eve, five-year-old and three-year-old Poppy.
The 39-year-old, actress is best known for playing Dr. Arizona Robbins, is head of pediatric surgery on ABC's Grey's Anatomy since 2009 - is an American medical drama television series that premiered on American Broadcasting Company (ABC) as a mid-season replacement on March 27, 2005, and is currently in its 12th season.
Her character was one of the first lesbian series regulars on primetime television.
Back in 2011, she opened up about balancing motherhood and work during an interview with Good Housekeeping.
"I love what I do and I think it shows. As my kids get older, they can see me as a mom who loves working," she said at the time. When asked what three words describe her as a parent, she replied: "Consistent, fun, [and] patient."
Jessica Capshaw is the daughter of actress Kate Capshaw and the stepdaughter of famed director Steven Spielberg.
