'Adele' Net Worth: Singer's '25' Posts The Greatest Single Sales Week Of All Time

Just a few days ago, Adele's third solo album, 25, rapidly became a hit right after it was released. In just a span of three days, her album was able to hit the 2 million mark in terms of sales. In United States alone, 2.3 million copies were sold, which is twice as much as Taylor Swift's hit album 1989.

In just a matter of days, Adele's 25 is slowly hitting the legendary territory and as the number continually increases, Adele's 25 album officially has the greatest album sales week in her time.

As per Nilsen Music, 25 sold a total of 3.38 million copies during its first week in the United States. The Celebrity Net Worth then reported that Nilsen Music's sales week which runs from Friday to Thursday implies that the 3.38 million mark only reflects the sales up until the 26th of November. This being said, it simply means that her album sales are continually increasing, there's a huge possibility that it could reach up to 5 million in less than a month.

The 25 album is the first to sell more than 3 million copies in a span of 1 week in Nilsen history. It is the largest single sales week for one album since the company began its point of sale music purchase tracking back in 1991. Prior to Adele's 25, *NSYNC's No Strings Attached album made its debut with 2.24 million copies on its first week by the end of March 26, 2000. Only *Nsync and Adele were able to hit the 2 million mark on its first week.

Two weeks after its release, 25 reportedly sold over 4 million copies in the United States alone. It is said to be the first album to hit the 4 million mark in a calendar year ever since Adele herself surpassed her previous record for her 21 album which sold 5.82 copies back in 2011, and 4.41 copies by 2012.

As per College Candy, Adele now has a net worth of $75 million and this does not include her earning from '25'.
