BIGBANG's Resident Rapper T.O.P. Unfollowed by Some of His Fans Due to Bizarre Posts

Social media has been the best medium for artists around the world to connect with their fans in a more personal way. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and of course Instagram, these are the top four most used mediums by the entertainers. Fans go gaga over their posts, may it be quotes, videos or pictures. Because of these mediums, the entertainers themselves are able to show the fans their everyday life which gives their millions of followers something to look forward to no matter what language or place they may be. An article in Korea Boo said that one of the most sought after South Korean idol suffered a massive unfollowing from his Instagram account.

South Korean boy Group BIGBANG's resident rapper, T.O.P. experienced this situation following a series of odd posts he did on his account. The rapper joined Instagram abut eight months ago. Unlike other members, he showed that he has a love for photos. He started posting about 100 pictures in the first two days since activating his account. Today, he has about 800 posts. In fact, this is the BIGBANG member's very first social media, being that he admitted that he doesn't like to use these platforms, but to establish a more personal connection with his fans around the world, and following the footsteps of fellow members, Seungri, Taeyang and BIGBANG leader G-Dragon.

T.O.P. is best known for his love on several pieces of arts and crafts, like paintings, furniture and the like. On the other hand, he is also known to post bizarre pictures on his account. In one instance, his agency, YG Entertainment released a statement about them in order to clear the confusion of all his fans.

More recently, the bizarre posts continued. Because of this, many of his fans unfollowed him. Even if it didn't make any difference to the number of followers he has, still it was an alarming situation. He has an official 3.3 million followers to date. Many concerned fans, didn't want to tell him how to use the platform properly, so they unfollowed him instead.
