FOX's Sleepy Hollow is set to return with its second season this week and for sure, all the Sleepy Heads - fans of the show - out there, are dying to see their well-loved Ichabod Crane alive. However, it's too early to celebrate as the series is set to open with Crane buried alive in a coffin six feet below the ground. Abbie Mills on the other hand is still locked away in purgatory. But there is no need to worry as both characters will succeed in freeing themselves. However, the main problem hits them when they find out that Katrina and Jenny have actually gone missing. After revealing that Season 2 will have 18 episodes, executive producer Mark Goffman gushed about the challenge of putting up more episodes for the series. We look at this series as epic and every episode as needing to be epic," Goffman told Entertainment Weekly. "Goffman said, "We look at this series as epic and every episode as needing to be epic," adding, "Every episode needs to be an adventure, and something mind blowing has to happen to our characters, with major revelations that move the story forward. The official synopsis of Sleepy Hollow season 2 episode 1 reads: "The Two Witnesses have not abandoned their quest to fight tirelessly against Moloch and his minions.
