Leaked Celebrity Nude Photos: A Second Wave Of The Internet Breach Nicknamed The Fappening Occurs, With Pictures Of Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna and Vanessa Hudgens Among Others

There are new leaked celebrity nude photos going around the Internet, as a second wave of leaks occurs to those celebrities that had their iCloud accounts trespassed: the newest victims of the hackings are Jennifer Lawrence (once again), Kaley Cuoco, Kim Kardashian and the goalie for the United States Olympic soccer team, Hope Solo.

Once again, the Internet strikes with leaked celebrity nude photos. The attack, which reportedly happened after hackers brute-forced iCloud passwords (which basically means trying different passwords repeatedly until the hacker finds the right one; many sites deny access after a few tries, but it was not the case with iCloud), features a new wave of victims, with pictures possibly obtained by the same hacker who leaked the celebrity nude photos released last August.

Among the new wave of women are past leaked celebrity nude photo victims Jennifer Lawrence, Kaley Cuoco and Kim Kardashian, as well as singers Rihanna and Avril Lavigne, former child actress Mary-Kate Olsen, actress Gabrielle Union, Johnny Depp's fiancé Amber Heard, Kate Bosworth, Leelee Sovbieski, Aubrey Plaza and even soccer superstar Hope Solo.

These leaked celebrity nude photos are the second wave of victims in a movement that became known as "The Fappening" in the Internet, after a hacker posted a series of pictures of female celebrities in private poses, sometimes alone and some others accompanied by their partners; in any case, pictures that were obviously taken to be sent privately. According to CNN, this security breach has led to an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation after Gabrielle Union's impassionate statement regarding the privacy issue she was a victim of.

The leaks don't only mean that celebrities are at risk, but rather that everyone can be the subject of a privacy leak of the sort, as Apple's iCloud isn't safe to use - even deleted photos can be hacked online later on.
