Naya revealed in her newest People Baby blog the joys and difficulties of breastfeeding her son and admitted that she was ignorant about what breastfeeding really was until she gave birth.
"Bottom line, it’s hard! Breastfeeding is like finding out that all of a sudden you can get bacon from your elbow... It's a trip," wrote Naya in a blog post.
Naya said she wanted to share her experiences to help prepare moms-to-be so they're not in the dark like she was.
It has been a crazy couple of months for Naya and Ryan but at the end she felt fulfilled.
“Looking back on the entire journey feels like a dream that I can’t believe I accomplished," she said. "And reality set in quickly when they placed him in my arms for the first time. This was my son, to have and to love, cuddle and oh wait…to feed.”
Naya shocked fans when she got married to Ryan, a longtime friend, soon after she and Big Sean publicly called off their engagement.
However, it seems as though Naya is overjoyed with motherhood and raising her child with Ryan.
