Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Takes on a Star Wars Parody in New 'Sisters' trailer [VIDEO]

Premier Hollywood female comediennes Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are onto dominating the silver screen this December with the biggest chic comedy flick brought by the director Pitch Perfect and Producers of Meet the Parents. The female comedy duo will then film 'Sister' out in theaters this December 18 alongside the epic Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

This time, Fey and Poehler takes on a Star Wars parody in the latest 'Sisters' trailer. The viral video is entitled Sisters: The Farce Awakens referenced obviously on the latest installment of the popular George Lucas franchise.

The parody, according to TIME, is that the new trailer is pretty much a "shot-for-shot parody of a Star Wars featurette from July". Obviously, they are teasing one of the most beloved and greatest franchises of all times. It's great, it's gonna be legendary.

What's in the latest treat are the use of phony British accents, Maya Rudolph going Chewbacca and Ike Barinholtz discussing their "magical" experience filming the movie. Fans are also able to catch George Takei's cameo in the new trailer.

'Sisters' is an American comedy about two sisters with distinct personalities: one very loose and childish (Tina Fey), and the other is uptight and divorced (Amy Poehler). The sisters go wild upon learning that their parents are planning to sell the house. The story takes on a crazy ride when they thought of throwing one last party at their beloved childhood home.

Fey and Poehler stars alongside Ike Barinholtz, Samantha Bee, and Maya Rudolph. Sisters, previously known as The Nest, is directed by Jason Moore and written by Paula Pell. The film is set to be released on December 18, 2015 under Universal Pictures.
